In my defense I wear these pants all the time, so they have been washed at least six times a month for the past year, and they were very thin material to start with... And I did turn down the birthday cake after lunch (albeit because I had just eaten at the mexican restaurant). So, I got on the treadmill after my workout today. And signed up for a half marathon in April. So thanks to my wonderful sisters for posting about running, the gym, and losing weight... now I have been suckered in as well.

bwahahaha! sorry, not sorry. i hope you don't mind, but i really needed a laugh today. also, i had a similar issue last week - much smaller, but nonetheless, i thought these pants i wore to work fit rather well and looked nice. then i got home, took them off and realized the seam was starting to split. and they were not well worn, just shoddy workmanship, i guess. ;-/
thanks for the gym tips. and you're welcome to the 8k on St. Paddy's or the 10k on Veterans Day or to just visit anytime.
I think you were more than suckered in--like black holed in! What did you wear for the rest of the day, or at least out to the car? Good luck with the exercise and diet lifestyle changes!
love, momsie
This happened to Mr. Burli the other day at work. Surprisingly, it hasn't yet to me, but I am sure one of these days!
Did you tie a sweater around your waist?
Oh dear! Okay, that's really funny. Did you just tie a sweater around your waist? I had a pair of jeans get a hole right in the thigh area, so I can relate. I think clothes are just rather thin these days.
Oh funny! I just read Chris's comment and see she asked the same thing about the sweater.
Luckily there was someone in the room with me that ran and got my purse and coat. I awkwardly tied the huge coat around my waist and waddled to my car to run home and change.
